In late 2023 and early 2024, NHS England are running an MMR Call/Recall National Campaign to ensure that children have not missed any doses of the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine for which they would have been eligible.
Communications will be sent out to parents or to patients directly (depending on patient age) and may be received either via text message or letter. This will instruct patients to contact the practice to check their vaccination status and, where necessary, to book additional vaccinations.
Please note that communications regarding this campaign are not being sent by The Symons Medical Centre and we therefore do not have oversight of who will be contacted and when.
Should you receive communications regarding this, please call the surgery. We will take the details of any patients concerned, and one of our clinicians will check whether there are any MMR vaccinations outstanding. If there are, you will then be invited to book an appointment.
